I fitted a wireless PIR in my shed about 18 months ago and all was fine until a month ago I got a false alarm. I put it on a soak test for 14 days and all was well until last night when I was awoken at 02.30 AM.
I have now set the PIR to low sensitivity and 2 pulse hoping that will help.
My questions are-
Could a spider walking across the PIR set it off? As there are a few in my shed.
How do I know if the soak test has failed? will it be displayed on the keypad?
When my system goes in to alarm, I have to punch in my code and cancel alarm before I can see what sensor has been triggered. Is there anyway to display the sensor on keypad without having to do this?
Thanks.
