Hi,
I want to convert the incoming steel water pipe (Galvanise) to copper as it enters my house. The pipe is under a sink and surrounded by floor tiles. It touches the outside wall.
My plan is to cut a gap in the brickwork around the pipe near the floor, and either add a converting compression adaptor. Or get a die nut and thread the pipe, for an adaptor.
Obviously the job should be a smooth operation, with water back on the same day, for me and my neighbour, as we have a joint pavement stop cock.
Any tips please?
Cheers, Camerart.
