Hi all, the door from our utility room to outside drips right on you when you open the door in this heavy rain, no other door seems to do it so just trying to work out the best fix for it?

Ive added a video to show what I mean. Is there anything I can do to deflect the rain elsewhere?

As you can see there is a gap between the brick and the frame, although its sealed its not flush with the brick. My initial thought was to just fill up that gap so its flush but not sure if it will make any difference? Its not coming internally but as soon as you open the door it starts dripping inside.

Should there be or are there any fixings that can go above the door like a rain deflector or is that OTT?

Fill with mastic.
CT1 or stixall.

Masking on bricks and uPVC to keep the mastic off.
Pull masking before mastic dries.
Your could also buy a white uPVC water stopper strip and stick on to create a drip ledge

If that wall’s subjected to (driving) rain, and the door opens inwards, you’re always at risk of water dripping onto the floor off the door. Not sure how filling with sealant fixes that. Gutters etc all ok at the top, not causing water to run down wall?
