Gaps/Holes in Plaster after Window Put In

Hi,
Does anyone have any advice as to whether if I would be able to plaster/fix over this myself using over-the-counter products? I had a double glazed sash window put in and this has left a gap and damage to the wall.
Any advice much appreciated.
