im not sure how to fill in the gaps in my parquet flooring? i've seen people say that they have mixed the sawdust with something, but im not sure what to mix the sawdust with? if any could help i would be grateful. thanks xx
Your parquet floor still unfinished or are you talking about appearing gaps in a finished floor?
If the first, collect sanddust from the second sanding (grit 80) and mix that with wood-filler
Fill any large gaps first and right after 'plaster' the whole of the floor. Let it dry and sand the floor again (grit 100 or 120) to remove excessive filler. Depending on the finish material you can oil the floor or if you plan on lacquer, sand the floor again with grit 140.
