Garage Alarm??

A while back,maybe wrong,in Maplins i saw a mains alarm extension where you plug an adapter inside the house,an then plug another in the garage,probably with a sensor,it then alarms the garage with probably a siren going off inside the house,is there such a device or have i got it wrong.Any info would be of help.

im sure this is possible!

as i used a 500w halo security light which came with a plug in device, this will bleep when the sensor is activated!

there used to be a lot of devices that did this, i remember myself a hilclare unit but thats just reminising lol

Timeguard make a similar unit now, so you can have your security light and a plug in chime.

Just google timeguard plug in chime

im sure that tasley used to make one also but im not sure if tasley still exist.
