Is it possible to use a 433mhz remote to replace my current gliderol one which I believe is 390mhz?

No. Any replacement must be the same frequency and the same type.

The 'clone' type of remotes only work with systems that use a fixed code, if yours has a rolling code or similar then a clone remote will never work.

Yer, asked the guys from Gliderol who fitted the motors and they wern't clued up about other remotes.

The link I posted was for a "copying" remote for your frequency, you cannot use an arbitrary frequency you must use whatever your equipment supports. The bit that was not true was the bit about not being able to get remotes that can copy existing rolling code remotes, as can be seen in the link I posted, you can indeed get them. You do need one working remote to copy from though.

Just looking at these remotes in the link.

Can they be used so that each button operates a different motor that are on different frequency's (i have two garage doors with different types of motors).

I wouldn't have thought so. You can certainly use one remote for two motors but they would need to use the same radio technology.

There are some multi frequency remotes available but I don't know enough about them. You'd have to look into them in detail yourself.

Hi guys, its been a while since i last posted but i still haven't got this sorted.

I now have two garage door motors running on 390MHZ rolling code but i cant seem to find a clone remote of the same frequency anywhere, any suggestions?
