Garage Foundation

Hi Guys

I am planning on building a garage, and would like to know what kind of foundation I will need. I am aware that usually one builds trenches for a normal extension or build, but since this is a garage, I suspect I may have to lay down a complete foundation.

As opposed to an incomplete one?
Standard strip foundations will suffice unless there are abnormal ground conditions in your area.
