Garage roof felt repair.

Garage (flat & shared) roof 6m x 6m. Thinking of (a - easy) cover with 250gm DPM and redo the sides and gutter end (6m x 3m as neighbour not doing as doesn't leak). (b) perhaps EPDM over felt (don't really want to remove the felt as too big a job at my age) and do the edges with folded EPDM and gutter end just into the rain gutter. (c) maybe make a frame and use bitumen roof sheeting as cheaper but unsure if there is a section made of same material to do the sides. Any advice appreciated.
