I'm in the process of moving my workshop into a stand alone garage at the end of the garden. The old up n' over got taken out and replaced with a single door and window in a uPVC clad timber frame wall.
Need to knock that out to get the last of the big tools in, but then need to close it up. Cheaply. but in such a way I can open it again.
I was thinking of bolting a few wall section frames together in the opening that I can un-bolt and remove if needed.
To skin the outside of this, I was thinking 18mm ply, then DPM, then horizontal feather edge over the top to improve the appearance.
Are there any other, cheaper, options of waterproofing a timber frame wall?
Cheers,
Fubar
