One, in it's eye ....
Eyeballed.jpg

Watering a shrub brought it into the open ... Thought they enjoyed the wet? Seems a little picky over slugs too ...

contary to popular belief frogs dont live in ponds, they do swim in them.(and alos they use them for mating purposes)

They do like to live near water (pond, stream etc) but not in it, they like long grass (hide in that) and or dark damp places, i.e under a stone.

your one was probably having a nap and he thought it was raining.

If i go into my garden at night i have to watch where i tread, not lots but i do have a couple of frogs hopping about, if i am not careful where i tread one may croak.

its hedgehogs that love slugs, not frogs, frogs prefer flying insects

And in our watering can  (the can we use to top up the birds swimming pool)
Lots of little froggies around in our garden, from really tiny to bit larger ones (from last year). And some pretty big ones too.

I once stepped on a cane toad with my bare foot in the dark. I felt and heard it 'pop'. Yuch.

(Mod with 'typical' humour, or lack off?)

Well I'll be damned - Flying insects and beetles, slugs and snails - always been froggies staple foods where I came from

If I take the frog as passenger in the car ... Do we then shift post to General Cars....
:D :D

birds eat snails not frogs since smails have shells, birds have found they can hit the snail on a stone to breal it open, cant see a frog doing that. frogs jump not only to escape but to grab flying food

frogs will eat small worms, and also spiders, frogs have only have top teeth, so they swallow food whole, bit hard (literaly) with a snail

what about my picture post about the frogs in the pond mating back in may/april? that got left in general ranting, it wasn't moved to gardening.

Yes, that's why I had to leave the country.
