hi all

need some advice please.

The lower tier of my garden which is grassed and primed for my 2 kids to play on when the weather improves, however it is surrounded by a wall approx 4 foot above a tarmac path.

I need advice about what kind of fence is best, 1) To withstand kids leaning/banging against it while playing and 2) allowing light through/allow us to keep an eye on the kids.

Would it be best to drill fence posts into the tops of bricks (will this be strong enough and whats best to use) or sink the post in concrete.

the garden isnt very big .

many thanks

wire netting wil do that

Trellis is see-through but very breakable

Honeycomb wall you can see though with difficulty, but will injure kids who hit it.

If you try to fix fence posts to the top of a wall, they will break off or take the top bricks with them.

You might consider spindles with handrail on top, as used in banisters or round decking.
