Hi all,
I am planning a small decking project in the garden, the garden slopes downward and therefore one end will be fairly shallow whilst the other will be raised around a foot or so.
I am attaching one end to an existing solid brick wall to which I'll use joist hangers (at the bottom of the design). I had to opt for 47x125mm instead of 150mm due to clearance at the shallow end of the design.
The intention is to cut the decking boards into a curved shape to follow the shape of the grass mow-strip, I haven't put all of the decking boards into this design illustration, just a few at the top to give an idea of scale.
I'd appreciate your views and feedback on whether this is viable and will give a nice solid finish.
