garden office

Hi

I'd like to put in a garden office of approximately 7m x 4m. We have heavy clay soil where we live and most companies supplying offices just put them on concrete feet. I was thinking that I would need a reinforced slab foundation of say 200-300mm. Also, does anyone know if fiberous concrete is better than traditional concrete.

Daft as it seems, concrete pads may behave better than a slab in this instance. Have you considered strip foundations? Are there any trees or water demanding shrubs near to the proposed building?
