Garden room subfloor, osb3 or ply

Morning all. Building my garden room and wondering what to put on top of timber joists as a subfloor. Base is floating on 12 piers, plenty of air flow. Doing mainly on my own so things taking a bit of time. For that reason and although I will keep it covered whilst building walls and roof, would osb3 or ply be better. Was wondering to keep costs down if osb3 with a coat or 2 of varnish would suffice (Decorator by trade). TIA

I'd use OSB. You can get tongue and groove variants btw, coupling with expanding urethane glue works well
