Garden wall footings..

Im going to build a garden wall about 2 to 3 foot high. How deep should the footings be?

At least 450mm, but it depends on the ground conditions not the wall height

Hmmm do you men how deep in the ground or how deep the concrete? 150mm thickness will be fine but as woody says there is no real standard depth to dig down.
