GARDTEC 300 SERIES - BIG PROBLEM

Hi im a new user on here and i see theres alot of knowlegable people so i do hope someone can help me.

I was sleeping tonight when the conrol panel on my alarm systme began to go off and all light was on. When trying to press my user code in the buttons didnt want to know or it wouldnt accept my code. The only other way it would stop was by holding a button in on the keypad, but as soon as it is released it goes off. I tried to take out the main fuse but that then sets of the outside alarm, is there any way to stop this ????? im going mad please help

For now, take the main fuse out of the end station (control panel), disconnect the battery (if it has one) and the outside should stop ringing after 20 minutes. Sounds like you might have a data problem. What alarm is it??

hi, all i can tell u is that its a gardtec 350 which we have ad a very long time without any probs. When u say disconnect the battery, can u tell me where id find this ? would i have to unscrew the alarm box panel itself to get into it ? and will this not set the alarm into tamper mode ? Just wot i have read previously thats all.

Yes, you will have to take the lid off the end station but if want the alarm to stop, you will have to do this.
