Hi, I recently had my home decorated and the decorator cut threw the inside alarm wire. Someone has managed to.connect the wires inside again abd the outdide bell rings but the light doesn't flash on it but the board won't reset and there is no bleeping coming from the key pad, nor is door bleeper working or the sensors inside.

I have tried to gollow some of the reset answers on here but nithung seems to be working so would be most grateful if anyone can help me!!

Post pictures of the alarm pcb …..if the sensors don’t light up there’s no 12v power ….so either the cable has not been repaired correctly or the fuse is blown ….this can only be confirmed if you have a multimeter to check the dc voltage …

What did you take those pictures with ? A Nokia ? Can’t tell as poor quality but looks like the fuse holder is sprung out at the top

There is quite often an engineers code on alarm systems, so you have to call them out. When your decorator cut the wire, its quite possible he may of blown a fuse in the alarm panel. I would call the engineer & let the decorator pay.
