I've just signed up to this site as I really need advice on a puzzling issue with my house alarm.
My neighbours have informed me that the bell box has sounded on a number of occasions and from the dates/times they have given, I was at home at that time but have not heard anything. They assumed I was testing it as it always ceases around 10 mins later.
Last night, I finally heard a 'distant' alarm and opened my front door to find it was my alarm. Only the bell box is sounding with no alarm inside at the control panel. As I was in the garden it stopped, so I've no idea how long it was going off.
Can anyone please offer any advice as to what could be the problem? I have checked around the net and cannot find anyone else having had this problem.
Any advice will be gratefully received as I would like to stop unknowingly annoying my neighbours!
