I have a Worcester 28i Greenstar combi boiler about 6 years old. Until recentley, the boiler lit and ran ok. About 4/5 weeks ago, the boiler started to ingnite with quite a loud plop. I understand this is called explosive ignition. The boiler has been looked at by two Gas Safe engineers with very little positive result (apart from cash leaving my pocket). I feel the problem may be with the ignition probes but would lik some comment from someone who may have experienced the same problem.
