hello,
Hello,
I have one room which is a modern room, attached to a georgian flat.
The room was divided into an entry lobby, a guest shower room and the guest bedroom.
The guest bedroom has a high ceiling height (3.6m), while the guest shower and lobby now have a reduced height of 2.5m to allow for a loft space where my builder is putting the hot water tank and the boiler (against external wall).
The access point to the loft is via the bedroom, higher up on the wall.
I was just reading some info on gas-safe, and it talks about not having gas appliances in bedrooms. Although the appliance is not in the bedroom, the access door is through the bedroom, so is this against gas safe standards? Keep in mind that my builder's gas safe registered plumber is involved with all of this --- I'm rather confused. I will raise it with them, but I wanted to get feedback from any gas safe registered people here. There are smoke, monoxide, etc detectors set up in there of course. No light bulb socket planned for in there though.
Thanks
