Just had a new gas standalone cooker delivered, then taken away...... The so called Corgi reg'd fitters from Currys said they cant fit it because the pipework (gas) the main pipe comes through the cupboard next to the cooker and not directly behind the cooker. We have had 4 cookers in 9 years all worked this way.
Is this fitter wrong or what new laws are there about this?
He did not fit the cooker because the main pipe 'tap' in behind the cupboard next to where the free standing cooker is the pipe goes behind the cupboard then into the cooker.
Any help would be very helpful.
