Hi I’m looking for advice on how to replace a gas fire thermocouple?

Call a professional. These are NOT thermocouples.

The fact that you think it is shows that you are not competent to be touching it.

Phone an RGI tell them the details of that badge. Verine went bust years ago and BFM \ Kinder bought the assets. They may or may not have parts.

BUT, if was local, I would probably have it running in minutes, to test, but would have agreed with you that you would have and pay for a “proper” service.

The part in question rarely fails beyond repair. But if your RGI tells me the number, I may well have one in stock.
