Gas Hob Fiber Washer Replacement

Hey guys, hope you can help me out with some advice, i've lost the original fiber washer that was on my gas hob & i need to buy a replacement for when the kitchen fitters turn up tomorrow. I am reinstalling my old gas hob (whirlpool ), fitters have said that the washer should be green in colour when i am searching the house, can't find it. I've seen toolstation do green washers but i would like to know if these would be suitable for a gas hob as i remember many moons ago we had a gas leak from a hob and when transco turned up he said red washer had been used and was wrong, he changed it and was on his way.

Any decent fitter wound carry spares .

The rgi will carry the washers required and then test the installation for Gas tightness.
