Hi

I'll be having my gas hob replaced soon.

The mains supply has been off for quite some time now (over a month). Should I turn it back on a few hours before the engineer comes to replace the hob or should I just leave it off?

Just curious as if left off, the gas will not be at full flow when the engineer installs new hob and tests etc.?

Any advice appreciated!

No, your gas pipes do not need to "warm up" after a month being off. Just leave it and let the engineer sort it out for you.
