Gas Hob Location

I'm trying to plan a re-design in my kitchen. I have a small galley kitchen and we want to move the gas hob to the end of the worktop against an external wall.

Is there any regulation as to how much gap we will need to leave between the side of the hob and the wall?

as posted the MI's need to be checked (and will prob be less than BS doc), but in the absense of them BS6172 shows a dimension of 300mm between the edge of the hob and the wall
