Gas main / water main

Looks like I need a new water main fitting but the logical place will enter the property about 300mm from the gas and electric main. According to the regs there has to be an underground 350mm clear radius but what about over ground when it rises up?

If the main comes through the wall to here then ’ll need to run the pipe along the bottom of this wall..... any problems with that?

With regards to water and gas. I am unaware of these services requiring above ground separation. There is a gas regulation for separations from electrical equipment though.

OSG 7.4.3 'Separation of Gas Installation Pipework' (P76): "Gas installation pipes must be spaced a) at least 150mm from electricity meters, controls , electrical switches or socket outlets, distribution boards or consumer units; and b) at least 25mm from electrity supply and distribution cables".

Thanks ... yes that’s all I could find too so I guess it’s on. The water and gas pipes run to the boiler in close proximity but just thought I’d check about the main.

Just couldn’t understand why it has to be 300mm away from the gas one side of the wall and not the other
