Gas or Electric. Which is best in today's energy crisis in your opinion?

A quick question for you all: In this ongoing energy crisis, do you think gas or electric is the way to go? What are the pros and cons you're seeing in your day-to-day work? Do share some real-world experiences. Did you move to a green energy solution like a heat pump?

Well I'm retired but was considering a new gas boiler ( outing existing Potterton kingfisher ) got 2 prices very similar . Then my M8 just up the road is having a heat pump setup installed, he already has solar panels and battery, so I'm going to wait and see how it pans out over the winter. I may go with the heat pump, due to the Gov. subsidy.
