Hello,

I've just moved into a new house with a lovely looking Lacanche range cooker with a gas oven.

The only problem is, when we cook on it, it seems to have no control. I bought a oven thermometer and can get temperatures in excess of 250oC on gas mark 1.

I am not much of a cook, but I can't even cook a pizza on this thing.

I would love some help to identify the problem and my family would be eternally grateful.

Thanks,
Matt

wannadie, good evening.

There is the following review site, the article about 3 or 4 posts down appears to have a similar issue to yours, lack of heat in the oven?

https://www.reviewcentre.com/freestanding_ovens_and_ranges/lacanche_macon-reviews_1607141

You mention that it is a new home? meaning new to you or a new build you have purchased?

If the latter then there should be some sort of warranty or guarantee period?

There may be further web based sources, it appears to be a fairly unusual cooker??

Ken.
