A little tip,
Never charged a battery on part charging eg: if the battery is low always press the trigger on the cordless tools until it stop otherwise you will shorten the life of a battery.

good tip masona

thats the main use for those silly torches you get with the kits
[they seem to drain batterys quicker than drills]

My son bought one of the green bosch 24V drills when they came out first.
Cost £99stg. from argos. i was encouraging a 'proper' bosch, but as usual wasting my time. He's now on his 5th drill (all the same model). When the warranty was about to expire he'd bring it back and complain about the 'chuck drive differential' to the the gril behind the desk. New drill, new 12mth. Warranty

No, there is no such thing as 'chuck drive differential' :)

It's only a matter of time before they develop cheap lithium batteries suitable for tools. No memory effect! High-drain Li batteries have a tendency to die after a year or two though.
