Geberit flush valve sticks

Hi, I have a Geberit Kappa concealed flush cistern. I'm seeing more and more cases where the toilet is flushed but the flush mechanism remains open. This is the part where the push rod lifts a plunger to open the flush valve. The plunger remains in the up position. A tap of the push rod and the plunger drops back and stops the water flow. Everything else is fine before the flush, no leaks at all.

Any thoughts about how to fix this? I see there is a youtube clip that shows this, not on a Kappa, but no indication of what causes it. Here's the youtube link:
