Hi.
I am planning to have a new ensuite installed but space is tight so, I'm planning on using a concealed cistern inside the studwall between the bedroom and ensuite. I was thinking of using the Geberit 111.799.00.3 Duofix 1.14m WC Frame & slim Sigma Cistern. Here is a link to it https://catalog.geberit.co.uk/en-GB/product/PRO_2712522

I like this frame as it allows the waste pipe to go into the floor, partially between the frame, and I think it would mean 5cm less depth than if all the soil pipe was behind the frame. Initially I only want to use a back to wall toilet, rather than a wall hung, which I might have installed sometime in the future. My question is, can this frame be used for a back to wall toilet?

Thanks.

I doubt it, they are different designs and you would have to line up the entry and exit points for the pipes and waste.

It will be noisy in the bedroom if its hard up against the plasterboard.

Yes blup, you're right. Having now checked the gap between the inlet and outlet centres doesn't seem to be the same for back to wall and wall hung toilets. I'll also look into sound proofing.

DH GB, the rational for using the frame was to allow for the possibility of a wall hung unit in the future but I guess it'll have to be a custom wooden mount for the cistern and pipework with the back to wall toilet.

Thanks
