my favourites are trying to run away from the reporters to a locked door and the conference about terrorists when he said

I am in no way sticking up for the bloke, but everyone thinks of him as thick. But surely, can someone who is thick, really become president of the worlds most powerful country? How does it work, I don't know.

A sensible comment in the wilderness I fear.

I don't agree with American world rule ideas(or actions) either, I also believe GB & TB should be brought to book for the Iraq debacle.
That said, there are plenty of people who do believe we would be less safe without the US. The US may be greedy and they may be selfish(to a degree) but they are hands that we(the UK) don't need to fear.
