Is it door threshhold that goes between rooms. My joiner made one up,but I am not sure if it's flat enough. Can u get them from b and q etc ?

They have to have some thickness to them or they would break but if for that gap then possibly add some timber ( but don't fill the gap to allow for expansion) and add a slim threshold over the top

They would not be flat , they have to be ramped to cope with the difference in height.Seen them up to 115mm wide.
