My old desk top running XP failed but outlook synced with my phone so all important addresses retained.

New to me lap top running Vista it seems has a different system and I could not pair the phone to Outlook it went to contacts instead. So addresses are on laptop but not in Outlook where I want them. The same applies with the calendar.

With both old and new PC I am running Outlook 2003.

The new lap top pre-owned by my late father had loads of stuff put on it by my late sister so could be some thing she has done?

I am slightly confused as to what you want to achieve.

Are contacts only in phone?

If so it will be useful to know which phone you have.

Are contacts in outlook?

If so you can export them in to a .pst file and import it in to any other PC running outlook.

The contacts were in the phone only but the Nokia suit allowed transfer into Windows Contacts but not into Outlook. I had a vista lap top before and Outlook worked with Nokia suit but with this one nothing will allow it to link direct to Outlook.

I have guessed something my late sister did. Running evaluation copies of a later version of outlook of something similar but just can't find what she did.
