We have a Samsung American style fridge freezer about 10 years old, it has the water chiller and ice producer In the freezer part.
We have a modern house with plastic water pipes and in some of the stud walls the pipes move with water pressure, in particular the pipe supplying the fridge and washer which are side by side.
Recent nights we have been disturbed by movement in this water pipe and could not work out what was causing it. something needs to draw cold water for it to move.
Last night I turned the ice producer off and no disturbance . . . . .
Puzzled because two nights ago I turned the water off to the fridge and it made no difference.
Anyone any suggestions?
