Hi
Newbie question here. Bathroom radiator valve was making a noise, so opened it slightly to allow more flow. When I did this it started to leak. I have taken the cover off and it is dripping from the gland nut. It leaks when the valve is fully open or fully closed.
I did some quick research - hoping not to have to drain the system and change the valves - and it seems you can undo the gland nut and pack with PTFE tape and lightly tighten.. Seemed easy. BUT I cannot undo the nut. It is extremely tight on both sides and does not even move slightly. I have tried a lot of force and am worried if I use any more it will make the situation much worse??
Any ideas?
