Hi,

I was hoping someone can help me to locate where I can find the attached glass panel, with the same embossed effect. I've have been to quite a few local glass diy stores but they don't seem to have seen this one before.

It's quite an old door about 25 years old.. it's still strong, solid hardwood and looks good as new. It has 5 narrow glass panels on the top half of the door, and 5 at the bottom, of which one has broken.

I'm finding it a little bit difficult to find as I'm not sure what the name is for this particular glass effect.

Would be greatful if anyone knows the name and where I could buy it from either online or in London.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Boogie.

It was most likely a custom glass that they didn't make alot of.
I'm guessing with most unusual glass styles the factorys just make a thousand or so sheets and sell it at a custom price, Or a door manufacturer may order a few thousand custom designs for a new door range.

If you do ever manage to find some do let us know how you did it.
You could ask a glass factory if they could make some but I expect a small custom run would be hugely expensive.

Vertical herringbone stripes? you may end up replacing all the glass if you can't get replacement, or you could replace with plain glass and use decorative film.
