I have just bought some Melbury bedroom furniture from MFI. we needed some wal cabinets and the bridging units were too deep so the only alternative was from their Melbury office range, it's a small cabinet which is only 380mm deep...Ideal, except for one thing it has a glass panel door.
The trouble with glass paneled doors is of course you can't hide your rubbish behind one of those.

So my question is, what i can i do to blank the glass so to speak, the only thing i could think of was that stuff you buy in Halfords to tint your car windows.

If anyone knows where i can get a better version of that or has another idea i'd welcome their thoughts.

Goto a film/television facilities company, like Lighting Technology, and ask for some diffuser (used for softening tv lights, but will work for you). Its basically a translucent, almost opaque, plastic sheet (like sellophane), with no colouring. It will turn your door into a frosted panel. They also sell Neutral Density filter, which is the same stuff, but won't diffuse the light, just reduce its intensity (like tinted windows)

Just a thought,

If you take the glass out and put in a brass wire mesh if you like that sort of thing !
