glass roof panels

i am building a 7m x 5m extention onto the back of the house, 7m will be out from the house, as it will be quite long and will remove sunlight into kitchen i would like to put glass into one side the roof rather than a window in one of the walls to try to get some light back into the kitchen, any suggestions for makes, i know of velux but dont really know any others

Velux, Fakro, much of a muchness. If it's a flat roof you can either get polycarb rooflights, or roofing kerbs, which basically are an upstand which is built into the roof and accepts a standard roof window, both of manufacturers mentioned do them, and they are seemingly overpriced for what they are.
