HI. I have recently had a full height cavity wall built on one side and a similar wall with gap for window built on the other side. On top of this glazing company fitted argon triple glazed roof - however they have just put sill boards over the open cavity on top of the 2100 high walls and also in the window reveal (all verticals in the cavity are not closed either) should I be expecting the builder to have filled these cavities with cavity closers and willl the facts that they have just had a plastiic coated sill stuck over them affect the thermal potential of the wall...
The builder says we don;t need them (he has said that about a few things based on the fact its not going through building regs - but I still want this to be as thermally efficient as it can be and if cavity closers help in this ..then this is what should be done..
Anybody got any advice, experience or information about this...
Thanks
