Hello

I have a glow worm 30c combi boiler.
It is in the garage.
The Honeywell thermostat is in the house.

My question is can I turn the boiler on and off without using the Honeywell thermostat. I am being lazy but there must be a way of sing the buttons on the boiler. ??? Thanks in advance.
The boiler service man did it. But I was not there. Is it a hidden code ?

Post a photo of your knobs etc. I am sure one can be turned or pressed to put the boiler into standby. Also, what is the full model name.

May I ask what you wish to achieve?
It's usually not a good idea to fully turn a boiler on and off. They are designed to be left on - even more so when it's installed in the garage, where there may be the risk of damage by freezing pipes.

If the issue is with the stat, have you thought about installing a smart stat, that includes scheduling and app control?

Thanks. I meant keep the boiler on but basically be able to turn the heating on and off rather than use the stat

Seems more effort imo to turn the heating on and off in the garage, rather than a wireless thermostat. Maybe get an app based thermostat?
