Firstly i dont know anything about boilers !

had a combination boiler fitted last year with complete central heating...everything was fine till we got a leak in the kitchen tap, the water was shut to change the water valve and water then re-opened...i then noticed that the tap was still leaking, the bathroom sink tap also started to drip and now the water tap from washing machine has started to drip.

Coz all these leak result in the pressure dropping to 1.1 bar on the boiler ? and if so can i close the main water stop outside and change the valves on all these leaking taps and not cause further damage to boiler ! or could it be something else ????

I might add that my hubby is away for a week !

There's no connection between the mains water pressure and the pressure in your boiler...this is a sealed system. If the pressure is dropping then you have a leak somewhere.
Maybe the water mains pressure has been increased, causing leaks on the other taps? Anyway, with the main stopcock off you can go ahead and change your tap washers.

many thanks for the information about closing the stopcock outside to repair the leaking taps inside...

so what could be causing the pressure the drop on the boiler...it seems to drop as soon as the boiler has reached its temperature settings ie...would be 1.6 when heating then reduces right down to 1.1 bar !

is it safe...im just very worried now

Thats just the normal expansion and contraction of the system water as it heats and cools....nothing to worry about!

thats absolutely the way it should work, nothing to worry about

ok ! im surprised but thank you for the replies at least i have peace of mind.

was worrying me all day !

cheers !

Spot on figures...after a while the gap between the figures will probably widen - this being due to the expansion vessel in the boiler needing recharging, which would normally be taken care of when the boiler is serviced.
