I have a 3 yr old glow worm 30 cxi which heats the rads continually despite selecting timer option. My first guess is that the froststat is overriding the timer.
Any ideas anyone?
Unless you have a frost stat fitted externally then your boiler does not have a frost stat.
It has frost protection but that is activated by the boiler temperatuire sensors. However, that would turn off the boiler after it warms up. You can measure the temperature of the sensors cold but thats unlikely to be the problem if the heating stays on for longer periods.
As your boiler ( I think ) has a DHW flow turbine then that cannot give a false indication so it must be another cause. Something rather unusual I expect.
See what others have to suggest as I dont see any obvious cause at the moment. Can you describe in more details exactly whats happening?
Are you sure you have correctly set the timer? It could be faulty!
