Glow worn space saver 50 not working

Hi I have a glowworm space saver 50, the problem is it wont work, i turn it on and you here one click from a relay and nothing else happens, No pilot light, the fan does not turn?

Please please help as i have a young baby and its now christmas so money is really tight i cant afford to by a new boiler, what part might it be?

You dont need a new boiler, just a competent engineer who has reasonable charges.

Alternatively a British Gas fixed price repair.

Hi I have no idea to be honnest if its a balanced glue one, how do I tell? I know its been playing up the last few weeks as I had to press a red button to get it going again several times last week, this button was behind the front cover.

Hi all, the boiler has just started again? I think I should call for a full service now whilst its running.

That's the overheat reset button it's possibly either low on water, blockage in pipework or pump faulty.

Its alweays sensible to get a boiler serviced every year during the summer when we are less busy.

Make sure you tell the engineer when first calling that it has locked out before.

Many, but not all causes, would be solved by a service.

these boilers are very sensititve on the oheat. Could be any number of things causing it but likely a circulation issue. Keep the boiler stat lower and see what happens. Also check pump speed and turn it up a notch.

btw I'm assuming by whats been said its a KFB Spacesaver

Kfb is a gloworm boiler variant. Quite a few still going.
