Gloworm Compact 80 lock out

I have a 5 year old gloworm compact 80, when the power switch is on, the pump runs contiuously, even with hot water demand only, when it is called for demand i get no ignition & then it locks out, boiler has been fine until now.

Too many possiblilities.
Try the fault finding in the manual, but be careful you have the right one, there are it seems 2 different boilers with the same name.

The compact P has a pilot the E is electronic ignition

thanks, definately a compact E, I got as far as the air pressure switch which was not responding as it should in the flow chart, but I am not sure where to go from there, sorry Im only a mere sparks , stuck on a sunday afternoon with no hot water!
