Hi there
Just had our Glowworm back boiler serviced. Since then, the pilot has sometimes been making a broken hissing sound (like SHHH....SHHHH....SHHHH!) instead of the usual unbroken hiss. This is only noticeable when just the pilot is alight (i.e. not when the main burner is ignited)
It only makes this noise some of the time, but it is quite noticable when you\\\'re sat in room. When you watch the flame when its doing this, it jumps up and down in time with the hissing. Also, flame is quite yellow. Other than that, boiler is behaving normally!
Is any of this cause for concern, or am I being too sensitive?
Should I get the CORGI ervice engineer back?
Thanks very much for any help!
