Glowworn 45-60 - adding a room stat

Does anyone know how to go about adding a room thermostat in a house with an old Glowworm 45-60 and a qe2 programmer. (Gravity fed!)

Find the wire that goes to the pump and break into it add the room stat then continue on to the pump
