I have some tulip wood. only one cm thick and 5cm width which I want to attach as skirting around an old pallet wood fireplace. But the walls have been emulsioned. I dont want to use screws or nails as the wood is light cream and they will show.

So will Unibond No More Nails do or like other glues will there be reaction between the emulsion and the glue and it will not stick. I tries the same glue with a waxed board and it just curled and twisted the wood.

If this is no good is there any glue that will work effectively with wood to emulsion ?

Thanks
