Gluing a screw

For whatever reason a screw holding the lens in place on my glasses keeps coming loose, (this screw is not part of the pivoting mechanism of the legs!) What type of glue would you recommend to coat on the treads before tightening to prevent the screw working its way loose?

you could pinch some clear nail varnish off the misses and try that first, although the loctite is the boy, this may be worth trying before spending.
